Áine Budds

Áine Budds is a Dublin based chef moonlighting as a poet in her spare time. Writing on food, feelings and coming of age, Áine’s poetry navigates the space of early womanhood exploring themes of love, heartbreak, rage and realisation. She is captivated by the role food plays in our personal stories and emotional connections.

Drawn to kitchens from the age of seventeen, she has spent time in some of Dublins most respected restaurants and is currently a proud member of the team at Allta. At present, she is in the midst of a Masters in Gatsronomy at TU Dublin and her studies combine two of her favourite things: words and food.
